Practitioners from the Core Health Centre work to provide a body free from pain but now two members of the clinic will be putting their inner strength to the test, and hope to raise money by taking part in a fire-walk on behalf of Hull ¢â‚¬â„¢s independent charity The Echoes Foundation.
Dr Jackie Cowie, Chiropractor and Personal Trainer James Brereton have volunteered to take part in the challenge and hope to raise ‚£500 between them for the event which will take place on Friday 12th November at the Ringside Pub on Beverley Road in Hull.
The charity works to provide support to parents and access to services and therapies for children with a disability or special needs.
James Brereton says: ¢â‚¬Å“The Echoes Foundation is an excellent charity.‚ All of the funds raised go direct to the people who need it so that they can benefit from brand new equipment such as their sensory room and also therapies such as baby massage and alternative therapy sessions.¢â‚¬
Jackie Cowie says: ¢â‚¬Å“James asked me to take part and I jumped at the chance.‚ I have always wanted to do a fire-walk and what better opportunity than to do it down the road from our clinic and in aid of such a wonderful charity.¢â‚¬
