Dear Hilary,
Regarding your question about how well the Re-Vital Eyes drops are working, I felt that I should explain why I am so sure that they do work and that it is not just my imagination, which I know can often play tricks with us.
In 1998, my optician told me that I had cataracts in both eyes, but that they were tiny and might take a while to grow; I could then have a simple operation.‚ I was not at all keen, as I even dislike the very thorough eye tests given now, let alone having to go through an operation.
It was in December 2003 that I read an article in the ¢â‚¬Å“Daily Mail¢â‚¬ about the eye drops, which I purchased.
In the meantime, during a visit to one of the ¢â‚¬Å“Ideal Home Exhibitions¢â‚¬, I bought a pair of those ¢â‚¬Å“Pinhole Trainer Glasses¢â‚¬, which are said to strengthen the eye muscles if worn for about twenty minutes a day.‚ I think they work also, if the owner can be bothered to do it regularly.
My reason for explaining all this is that if I wear these glasses and read a book or newspaper, I can see where the cataracts are.‚ ‚ From being dense and covering a small part of one eye and a smaller one in the other eye, they have thinned out.‚ ‚ One is now like wispy smoke and the other, only a tiny cloud in the corner.
I am convinced it is the eye drops that have caused these changes and feel that if I presented myself for the operation now, I would be told that the cataracts were not severe enough to need an operation.
The drops have to be used quite often and compared to other ones, are of course, expensive, but I think it depends on how much a person minds having a cataract operation. I am sticking to the eye drops, regardless of the cost.

Dear Hilary,
Seven years ago, to my dismay, I was told by my optician that I had cataracts; she also said that she was surprised that they (meaning the hospital eye specialists) hadn¢â‚¬â„¢t done anything about my right eye.
I suffer with eye pressure (wide angle Glaucoma), which could pose a risk with an operation, so naturally I didn¢â‚¬â„¢t want to take any risks.
Having read about the Re-Vital Eyes eye drops in the ¢â‚¬ËœDaily Mail¢â‚¬â„¢, I was quite determined to try them, my daughter said, ¢â‚¬Å“Mum, you have nothing to lose¢â‚¬.
After several months, I went for my next appointment at the hospital, to be told, ¢â‚¬Å“There is not much cataract in that eye¢â‚¬!‚ ‚ I couldn¢â‚¬â„¢t believe him ¢â‚¬â€œ the same eye ¢â‚¬â€œ my right one.
I must also say that the Re-Vital Eyes drops are the best lubricant I have had since the eye drops that I have for the Glaucoma make the eye very dry.‚ I was told to use a lubricant, which was given to me by my doctor, four times a day but I find the Re-Vital Eyes drop much more effective.
I am 81 years of age and after so many years I am still driving, which is very important to me, as I value my independence.
I would like to add just one more thing; the last specialist I went to see asked me to Photostat the information I had given him to read on the Re-Vital Eyes drops and joked, ¢â‚¬Å“With this product around, we will all be about to lose our jobs soon¢â‚¬.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Your condolences are very much appreciated.
I tell myself repeatedly I am lucky to have‚ shared so many good times with‚ Dixie‚ during his 16 years, but of course that does not fill the aching void.
One thing is for sure, however,‚ his‚ drops made a‚ significant difference‚ to his problem with cataracts.
I‚ have attached a photo‚ I took of us just two days before he passed away, and‚ it shows he was able to see exactly what was happening.
If this photo is of any help in convincing pet owners of the efficacy of the drops then please use it.
