Goole Museum will be home to an exhibition in June enlightening people of history of the railway in Goole including a section on the railway steamers.
The museum are wanting people who are willing to lend parts of history to do with the rail in Goole from small items such as crested tableware and cutlery, posters, tickets and photographs to larger items including uniform or even a model railway layout.

Items would be displayed either in cases, or, in the case of posters etc. in frames screwed to walls and panels.‚ The museum would need any items by Friday, 27 May to enable labels to written etc.‚ The exhibition will run from Thursday, 9 June until Saturday, 16 July.
Goole Museum is open Tuesdays – Fridays 10am – 5pm (late opening until 7pm on Wednesdays) and Saturdays 9am – 4pm.
The museum is closed for lunch 12-12.30pm (1.30 – 2pm on Wednesdays).
