Content found in 1808 and 1836shows that the Feast was a major with people from neighbouring towns and villages attending.

The event from 1836 came alight again around 16 years ago, and the Feast has again entered the world of Hessle again.
One event that happened in 2006 attracted over 5k+ local visitors to the area.

The last one was in 2009 and was officially opened by then Hessle MP, Alan Johnson, and the Mayor of Hessle, Frank Kitchen, at 1 p.m..

Hessle Feast festival will be in 2011 and shoud be ‘bigger and better than any other year’.
