Watch on ipad Hessle Foreshore gets 100s of visitors over a weekend if the weather is nice. Hessle Foreshore is home to no shops and very little services which is a shame when so many people visit the area. The only serving company besides The Country Park Inn is an ice cream van which always does well (good or bad weather). So a picnic is an ideal way to spend time lazing about and relaxing on the grass verges.

Humber Rescue is situated near a children’s play area and have just unveiled a new addition at a ceremony that took place at the charity’s boathouse on the 9th April. The new boat named “The Hilary P Berriff”, is in recognition by Humber Rescue founder Paul Berriff’s wife.

Behind the foreshore is the Humber Bridge’s country park with huge expanses of wooded and open areas.

Towards the end of the road lays The Country Park Inn where you can enjoy a cold drink in the summer sun and spend time with friends or family.

Parking is ample and people should drive slow as many children enjoy the foreshore playing!
