Hey, this one looks very low. You know I don¢â‚¬â„¢t like it low.
Hi everyone! Now we are going to talk about online videos. If you have ever thought about having an online video on your website and thought well because it is a lot of [0:39] the equipment is expensive and sometimes you just seem to need to actually put a date in your diary to actually do it. Humber.TV, for the month of April actually has a special on. So, contact us. Contact us on the info@Humber.TV and NUI will give you the information and it is a very good special in that it will give you an opportunity to either have a role like you will see this video as a role a lot of, actually I don¢â‚¬â„¢t know the technical stuff any, the role video or you can actually have us edited with the high-definition webcam. So, you have got the two options there. There is something you can actually look at doing a weekly update or do a monthly update or something that says fixed on your website or this is a link on, which is archived on Humber.TV¢â‚¬â„¢s website.
So, what you are going to see now is actually I am going to do three online videos for my business. And the reason I am doing three is because the first one is actually, I think it is important for customers because when you think of it we are all pretty damn lazy. If we had the option to actually sit down and watch a video and reading text, I know myself, I will always click on looking at the video because who really has the time to sit down and to have reading the text when it is sooner when you can just click on and watch the person and also it gives you an opportunity to actually see the person and you build a trust a lot faster.
For my business, I am going to talk about how, my first video is where we talk about how and I got involved in doing this and cultural bodywork, because I think it is always nice to know people¢â‚¬â„¢s journey in life and their crosswords in life what decisions you make. I believe that it actually gives reason to people who have passion in their life and the passion for their work and for me in particular with my work. You say, it¢â‚¬â„¢s all about passion and all about belief in that I will do my work properly.
Then I am going to do a video on about the benefits. Anyone in business knows its benefits, benefits, benefits, benefits. That¢â‚¬â„¢s why we promote. Everybody, that¢â‚¬â„¢s why people come to us, because of the benefits. So, we I am going to talk specifically about ten benefits because that¢â‚¬â„¢s what I talk about in my brochure because it is two hands, one body, ten great reasons. So, we are going to go thorough my ten benefits so then I can actually complement the actual already the hardcopy promotional stuff that I already have.
The next thing I am going to talk about is what makes like the cultural bodywork different to other types of formal massage. So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s the three videos I am going to talk to, to go through today. So, [2:56] rule on the site at Humber.TV site and then you will be able to see the edited CD and you will actually see the high-definition difference. So, that gives you the opportunity to decide what would you like and how far you want to go. So, let¢â‚¬â„¢s start and I am going to have a drink of water before you start. And also if you want, because it is difficult here to sitting down and talking to the camera you can either myself interviewing or you can have a friend come to interview you. And you really don¢â‚¬â„¢t want to be outside, you don¢â‚¬â„¢t want to have a list and actually read, read, read because what is the sense because at the end of the day you know about your business and know about yourself and you want to talk from your heart because that¢â‚¬â„¢s at the end of the day, that¢â‚¬â„¢s what do and people deal with people. So, let me have a little drink now.
So, my first one I am going to talk about is how I got involved in doing cultural bodywork. As you may have gathered now with my accent, I am an Australian. As an Australian in the early 90s I got involved in a health shop. And apart of having the health shop I actually studying naturopathy. And my big aim in this health shop, in naturopathy is that you do you know you study iridology, you study [4:06] herbs, you study vitamins, you study anatomy and physiology, anything to do with the health of the body and allowing people to take responsibility and heal themselves and part of my goal of my health shop, that I sold all these herbs, vitamins, fiber and everything is that anything, anybody, any customer to differentiate ourselves from any other health shop is that they could actually they anything in relation to any alternate therapies.
So, I had tried a million of different alternative therapies. Some alternative therapies is that it is just crazy quackery and other alternate therapies that had really helped and I really knew and I was ready to believed in. And then after a couple of years in my divine intelligence I got involved in a Thai restaurant, don¢â‚¬â„¢t ask me why. I had actually a business partner and he was going to be the front person. I was just going to do the back person and on the second night of opening, he decided to go. So, may be I am quite stubborn and also because I had all my money involved, invested in this little restaurant. I had to run the two businesses at the same time and as people know in the mid 90s, to sell a business at that time was quite a difficult time because of the recession we had to have. Well, that¢â‚¬â„¢s our permits in Australia said.
So, I ran the two businesses at the same time. It took me a year to sell my health shop and during that year, I assumed you know it is like, I was actually assigned to resent my customer and my staff, which is really not good, because my customers, are paying my staff, my staff is actually getting the customers paid, the whole circle. And I would come home crying and it was just horrendous and at that time, in the health shop it was actually [5:41] is very high in caffeine and I am actually very intolerant to caffeine. So, taking this [5:47] will be shaking, which is not really good and coming home crying and just losing it, because it was really tough. You are working all the time, customer service is really demanding in Australia and also when you have a restaurant, you are dealing with chefs and as anybody that had a restaurant, they know the chefs are quite full on people and quite interesting and [6:07] be delicate handling them and at time not handling very well.
So, what actually I believe, I was actually at the edge. As you know the people when they are at the edge in their life and they got off that edge, it¢â‚¬â„¢s rarely they ever get back where they were before. When I was at the edge, I was very lucky that my girlfriend that actually started learning this Hawaiian Kahuna Massage. And she said, come, come, come, come and experience this work and I still looked really, to be honest I am time-pulled, I really didn¢â‚¬â„¢t have anything, at least two businesses. I was just going around with circles. And she convinced me and I think couldn¢â‚¬â„¢t she convince me. After the treatments I just felt amazed that my life was this massive, when you are stressed and you bring your life as a big massive mess. After the treatment, everything was alive and I was like ¢â‚¬Å“Dit-tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk¢â‚¬ and I knew what to do next and I felt lot happy myself. And also like you standing up, running around and running two businesses. I already have poor circulations and my legs were aching. And after the treatment, my legs felt lot supported because it has got that movement. And also it had somebody taking care of me because anybody out there has actually had businesses all of their own and [7:19] my clients are actually people that have run businesses and actually this when they come to see me is actually the time you allow themselves to look after because you are worried about everybody else.
So, it¢â‚¬â„¢s just wonderful to actually have somebody take care of me. Basically I know this work saved me and I know the power of this work. During the course of time, I would actually go in the table every 10 days, until I sold my health shop. But then I continued this, this was very much part of my life style, was to get my regular Kahuna massage. Then later on I sold the health shop, thank goodness. And then I kept the restaurant on for couple more years and then actually sold that. But during that time I started really believed in the work and I trained under it [8:05]. And this really became part of my life. Now I really just enjoyed what I did. Then what happened is that, as things you know you have these crossroads in life, which are the big things about crossroads. And I ended up coming to this country, which I never actually had indents to do this as a full time business. And I ended up starting to do this culture body work as a full time business. So, I have been doing this work for 10 years and I have been doing this work in this country for 7 years.
So, it has been a wonderful progression in my life and that is something I really, really believe in. So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s my life story. My life is a culture body work and all things about culture body work. They call it culture body work because my instructor, she is married. Her instructor was [8:48] and the cool base is its Hawaiian Kahuna. So, she is sort of cooled up in culture body work. So, I have just inherited that language as well. So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s my little online video about how I came to what I am doing. Again, talk to you in the next one.
Okay. So, now I am going to talk about the benefits about umm, why people choose come and see me and get a massage from me. As I said, it is already part of my ongoing physical promotion. Alright, so now we are going to talk about the 10 great reasons, why to have a regular massage. The first one, what regular massage does, is actually makes you feel happy and relaxed. Why does it make you feel happy and relaxed? It is because somebody gets to use taking care of you. It makes you feel happy and relaxed because when you heat yourself and the first thing is you do is you rub yourself because that helps soothe the nerve endings and that¢â‚¬â„¢s when you get the environment when you are experiencing safe touch and allow yourself to be sooth. Relaxation part is because nobody else can touch you. Once you are in my room, that¢â‚¬â„¢s it, you are mine, you phone¢â‚¬â„¢s off. Nobody knows where you are, when you come to my private studio, you are completely cut off and it¢â‚¬â„¢s in the safe environment and it allows people to relax and happy in themselves. The big thing too is that somebody has somebody taking care of them, it does make them feel happy and they know that they are not alone, which is a big thing in society. We are lot of people feeling alone out there and feeling the separation anxiety. Now the other one of the 10 great reasons is, it enhances quality of sleep. The interesting thing is that when you are so stressed out of you brain, is that you can¢â‚¬â„¢t sleep properly. We have all experienced that. When you allow yourself to relaxed to taken care of and allow your muscles to be soothe, then that enhances a quality of sleep. This style of work that I do is I use mainly my forearms and it¢â‚¬â„¢s a very flowing work. It increases so many things in the massive surface area, I am covering over the body and it creases the oxygen in the body by 20%. This is the test. We did lots of testing massage. When you thing that¢â‚¬â„¢s a lot of oxygen in the body, and when you have oxygen going through the body, the oxygen treat the cells and allow the cells to get rid of detoxing and rid of the carbon dioxide and allowing your body to work lot more efficiently.
The other one of the 10 great reasons is that it reduces the cellulite and tones the body. Ladies, we all know to help what cellulite is and needs movements. Cellulite is basically, stagnant. When you are getting that, the traditional treatment goes for 90 minutes. So, there is a lot of movement in that treatment. And again, if there is something in the area that is stagnant, we help move it and allow the body to process it.
The other one of the 10 great reasons is that it reduces backache and pains. When we get stressed up, particularly in the back, I am sure you would have felt it is that you are there and you can feel the muscles, ¢â‚¬Å“Ditt-tuk-tuk-tuk. Crunching, crunching, crunching.¢â‚¬ and it¢â‚¬â„¢s like this oxygen the blood cannot flow through this. What the work does is actually it helps release and opens it and opens it and opens it and allows your oxygen blood to flow through and allow the body to get to you know to get rid of the lactic acid, get bit of detoxing and allow the body to work more efficiently.
The other one of the 10 great reasons is that it helps you indulging Me-Time. Me-Time is essential time. This is the time where you use, I am going to use the word ¢â‚¬Å“honor¢â‚¬, honor yourself. The way you actually give yourself time to actually nurture yourself and make yourself feel special. Because as I say, if you don¢â‚¬â„¢t take care of yourself, you can¢â‚¬â„¢t take care of anybody else out there. I know it¢â‚¬â„¢s very common, particularly, I am going to very sexist here, particularly in woman, I know that there are men out there that are amazingly wonderful, but particularly in woman that we have this consciousness that we feel that we still have got to take care of everybody else and forget about ourselves. But the thing is like, I always use this analogy of the jug like, here we are this jug, this jug of giving. This is including men and for everybody. This jug of giving. We keep giving, giving, giving, giving, giving and giving. And then what happens is that the jug has some hairline fractures. But we think, ¢â‚¬Å“Oh, no, no. We can handle this.¢â‚¬ and we keep giving, giving, giving, giving and giving. And this hairline fracture become a massive crack. I mean, no, no. We can still keep giving and giving, giving. Then this jug is pouring with this giving out, but also it¢â‚¬â„¢s going out everywhere else. So, we become angry and we sort of angry to the point we get resentful. When you get on the table, actually we just what, we stop this jug of giving, stop flowing, give the opportunity because you actually starting allowing yourself to receive. We fix-up this jug, fix-up the cracks. We give it a sand and we repaint it and regloss and glaze it and it allows you to give a lot more efficiently and it actually gives. It¢â‚¬â„¢s like anything, like I am from [13:38] community. They had to have downtime where there actually, because it was 24 hours, where there actually was time when they do needed downtown to fix everything up. So, they didn¢â‚¬â„¢t fix everything up, it wasn¢â‚¬â„¢t working efficiently. We are no different to some out of that [13:54] community.
Okay. The next one is to feel careful and connected. Again, that¢â‚¬â„¢s more one of the big things that the safe touch things. We are all desperate to be able to be touched. Touch is a basic primal need. You know John Gray in, ¢â‚¬Å“Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus.¢â‚¬ And he was saying actually if you touch your partner 10 times in a nonsexual way during the day that actually increases their confidence. Simple is that, just touching the arm, it is simple as that. So, here we have a situation and you are experiencing somebody in a safe-touch way that they are to love you and take care of you. And again you don¢â‚¬â„¢t feel that separation, you feel that you know that somebody that actually cares for you. I have been this work for 10 years and I know the importance and I also you are going to realize because massages are really big in Australia, so I have experienced some of the crappiest massages and believe some of the amazing massages. I know that most of us we are all time poor. So, when somebody comes to my table, I am so focused on giving you the best experience possible because I know when I was on the table I was so [15:00] and I needed the best experience possible because that¢â‚¬â„¢s the only time that I actually myself to have that Me-Time.
The other one is about being detoxing and boosting your immune system. What this work, cultural bodywork does is that actually we work with moving the major lymphatic systems. Like under your arms and getting everything moving. As you know, the lymphatic system is the garbage collectors of the body, which is related to you immune system. And if your garbage collectors are not being emptied or not moving, that¢â‚¬â„¢s where we get ill. And actually they have done test that people that get regular massages, is that their immune system increases and actually they have less days off at work. I don¢â‚¬â„¢t know if that¢â‚¬â„¢s a good thing or not. It is a good thing because you have more fun.
Okay. The other benefit is it allows you to think more clearly. Back to the stats, 20% more oxygen. After treatment we have increased the oxygen of the body by 20%. Imagine 20% more oxygen in the brain, more it increases the circulation of blood the brain. They have actually done again more tests. They have done people that with the mathematical exams. And they have done the accuracy and how they increase an accuracy when they done the exams before and after massages and there were able proven increases their mental accuracy of the mathematical exams. I am really going really well on this one.
So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s the advantage of getting the oxygen in you brain improving your posture. If you are feeling back pain and aches, you don¢â‚¬â„¢t want to standup straight. Here is an opportunity in allowing the oxygen and allowing the blood to be pushed through the body, allowing the body to release all the toxins, allow it to be able to stand up straighter and feel more relaxed and happy. I mean, for that feeling more relaxed and happy, you do organise your posture in order that improves.
The final one is feel great and look younger. You automatically do. When you feeling relaxed, you look when people are stressed out they are all crunched up and all hunched over. And when you feel happy and relaxed, you do look great, you do look younger. How I finish off with the treatment is by doing lymphatic drainage of the face. And you can actually see you peel off the layers of stress of the people and then you reveal the beautiful young, the handsome young man, is just revealed at the end of the treatment. And it¢â‚¬â„¢s just lovely to watch this happen. And it¢â‚¬â„¢s an important thing that we have got to take care of ourselves. So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s the benefits, the benefits of getting regular massage.
Okay. So, this is my third video. So, I am looking as it is a regular thing because as you know it is always important to update website. So, people that got a lot of changes in their world, you know, it is updating every month, every week or every six months. So, this one now we are going to talk about what makes culture bodywork different from other types of bodywork.
What makes culture bodywork different to other types of bodywork? The big thing about the culture bodywork is, if the [18:18] Hawaiian Kahuna Massage. Kahuna is what they called is the flying. The flying is actually the footwork. This may have sound really strange, what footwork has got to do with the massage. This footwork is actually known as the dance because Kahuna is also known as dancing massage. And this dance and this footwork, this is like they call the fight to never getup is actually comes from actually the frigid bird and the flight of the frigid bird. And as you know the frigid bird comes off the cliff in the day, in the morning and just flies and just follows the air currents because this base work is based on ancient Hawaiian Kahuna¢â‚¬â„¢s stuff. So, it¢â‚¬â„¢s all work is ancient work and it¢â‚¬â„¢s very sacred work.
So, this foot work, when you do the training, you actually spend more than 50% of your time at training actually doing this flying technique because this flying technique is so important because it allows connect with the body and actually allows you to beware of the energy flows of the body. And when I do this dancing, the analogy is actually, the body on the table is actually the cover-up of the dance. But there is specific journey that we go on and joining the treatment, but actually the intensity and the depth is all determined by the body itself because people would come like you know because each of us have different problems and different ailments and different reasons why we come to masseuse. I have got one lady, and I think she is 78. She comes to me because her partner has gone and there is nobody. If she can come instead of get that still safe touch of sense. So, you get to feel notched and taken care of.
And there are one other people as you know come for backaches and pain and sciatica or they got the Reynaud¢â‚¬â„¢s disease, where the hands go blue because of poor ciculation. So, each person has different reasons in coming to see me. In other times, people come to see me because they just needed their time to completely chill out. The other big difference with the culture body is that, since I used left forearms, you allows it to be at it allows it to be this flowing movement and allow you the squeeze down the body. And some people actually experience waves going through the body and I think got at the Hawaiian consciousness. And the big thing we actually do, we do joint and hip rotations and that helps increase the fluid between hip joints and also helps to stress to lower back, which is all important. I think the big thing that differences with this work and other work is made, I have been doing this work for 10 years and I know this has helped longer and it has actually saved me.
I have been doing this work for 10 years and I have to look after a lots and lots of people and lots and lots of different situations and I have great pride in a work. And whoever comes at my table, I just love them to be because I think that¢â‚¬â„¢s really important because I think we all out there just to be love and accepted who we are right now and none have to prove anything. That¢â‚¬â„¢s my big thing in life and I just like to love people as they are now.
So, that¢â‚¬â„¢s the basics of difference between culture bodywork and others. I am sure if I had somebody interviewing me, they will bring up lot more interesting questions. And if you know anybody out there that does like backache and pain that needs the Me-Time, that¢â‚¬â„¢s not sleeping properly, send them to my website. So, I will talk to you soon, all, well actually in honor of bodywork using. Thank you!
So, now you have seen the last 3, all varied rule, but the thing is I think there is nothing more like they say when it comes to marketing it is sometimes better to be different than actually better. And I know what I am like with the way I speak and sometimes I stumble and that sort of thing, but at least it is different and people definitely remember it. So, if you are interested, contact us. It¢â‚¬â„¢s a wonderful special for April. Take advantage of it because it¢â‚¬â„¢s time to upgrade your website. If you are interested in upgrading website, keep the online video and give us a call and we will take care of you. Thank you very much!
