An uplanned shoot of‚ Sunday, 8th May 2011 where people gathered to Remember the blitz in Hull. We caught some footage to remember the day.
A day of commemoration was held on Sunday, 8th May 2011 this enable local people and the city as a whole to remember the Hull Blitz.
The day started with a service at Holy Trinity Church with a procession to down Whitefriargate towards Queen Victoria Square where a civic commemoration will be held.
In Victoria Square their also was a inflatable huge tent with memories. photos, war items etc for the public to view.

this must have been after i went off to work, as it was cloudy when i visited and 1 person was attempting the air-raid siren! i took some photo’s inside and got my free blitz paper. shame i couldnt spend more time to ask questions or be there to view the rest of the day, but work happens!
[...] Not too sure exactly what this is, but it was on display at the museum and I was so drawn to the colour and shape that I guess I forgot to read the description. On the same subject: http://humber.tv/shows/remembering-the-blitz-in-hull-sunday-8th-may-2011/ [...]
