Nick Danby finally gets his own back by interviewing Valerie Prentice. Is what she does, really just touchy feel waste of time or is there really something to what she does?

Having seen this video is now part of a competition thought I would watch again. I have now seen a number of interviews carried out by Valerie and heard her on BBC Radio Humberside and she just so comes across as passionate about her work, her enthusiasm and love of life and people. If only 20% of that is transmitted through her to you during a massage the experience must be absolutely amazing maybe one day. She deserves every success.
I’ve just listened to this interview for the first time. I learned quite a lot about you, all of which was really interesting! I must come and have another massage some time!
I was delighted to see Valerie in the opposite seat, warm, intelligent and articulate. I also thought Nick Danby did a good job as the interviewer.
One of the classic interviews on Humber TV. Valerie is a ray of light always positive and full of life. A good interview by Nick.
I have had many massages from Valerie over the years. Initially I had the massages to help with my Reynaud’s syndrome. The Kahuna massage helped me eliminate the medication I was taking for Reynaud’s which was an unexpected benefit of the massage. Now I go because I enjoy how it makes me feel about myself. It makes me feel happy about me.
Thank You Valerie for introducing this special massage to me. Looking forward to being on you table next week.
Very informative video about you but there is something you didn’t mention that your unique massage does for people.
I lost my partner last year and felt very hollow inside. I just felt empty.
Unsure as to why I booked in with Valerie, it just seemed to be a good idea at the time. When she stared doing her magical massage, I felt as though there was a bottom to the emptiness and what ever she was doing was filling it up. I look forward to each massage I get from her, it has helped in a funny way to make me realise there is life after.
An insight into what gives Val her bounce and the energy she gives to everything she undertakes, if you haven’t had a kahuna massage yet then don’t waste anymore time and book it you won’t regret it
So the tables turn and the interviewer becomes the interviewee. And a good one two, informative and interesting, with Nick providing a calm counterpoint to Valerie’s enthusiasm. Kahuna Massage is indeed a powerful technique, but I would also like to experience it with live trance drumming, rattles and drones, to go deeper into that healing journey. As Valerie said it is elemental, which returns us to the “The Tables Turned” and in particular the line “let Nature be your Teacher”…

How can you communicate an experience such as a Kahuna Massage in an interview? Great attempt and what a fascinating background – I’ve gained insight and would dearly love to have the experience – sounds wonderful. It links in with the fundamental elements of Ho oponopono which I believe comes from the Kahuna tradition, with its essential basis in unconditional love. I’d like to hear some feedback from individuals who’ve had the experience – sounds fascinating.
Yes Clare,
Hoponopono is used in the treatment. I think Hoponopono helps give the treatment a different edge. Will ask my clients to make more comments on this site. They say it is very hard to put into words the different feelings and experiences they have during a treatment as each is very individual and personal to what they didn’t realise they needed at the time.
Thank you to everyone that have made comments. Very much appreciated.
Bodywork you soon, Valerie
