800 or more scooters rode across the Humber Bridge at the weekend of August 2010 to break a world record.

The trail of scooter riders think they have gained a place in the Guinness Book Of World Records for “The longest unbroken line of scooters riding a two-mile stretch”.

The whole event, organised by the Yorkshire Scooter Alliance (YSA) with Grimsby and‚  Cleethorpes Scooter Club, saw 800+ scooters ride in full convoy line across the bridge.
All the bikers were cheered and clapped on by a crowd of onlookers lining the bridge footpath to watch the historic day.
Derek Cooper, a member of the YSA events team was delighted!
